About Us

Dr. Theodore Cummings began this practice in 1952 and was joined by Dr. Willard Hamilton in 1972. The business moved to it’s current location in 1984 in the former Hotel Caribou, now known as One Vaughn Place. Drs. Savage and Jandreau joined the practice and in 2010 our name was changed to Caribou Eyecare. Dr. Hamilton and Dr. Savage are now happily retired and Dr. Rachel Bradford and Katherine Nickerson have joined Dr. Jandreau to provide care 5 days a week in Caribou and Presque Isle.

Dr. Daniel Jandreau went to the University of Maine at Farmington after graduating from Washburn High School, and also attended the New England College of Optometry, graduating in 1995.

Dr. Jandreau joined our practice in 2000 after he spent a couple of years practicing in upstate New York. He has 3 daughters with his wife Stacy.
